Bali, December 15, 2025 – As part of our regular program, on December 13–14, we conducted a series of environmental education and clean-up activities in Buleleng Regency. This activity is one of our concrete steps in expanding the impact of environmental action throughout Bali.

Environmental Education for the Younger Generation

On December 13, the activity began with an environmental education session at SMPN 6 Singaraja and the Narayan Seva Orphanage, where participants learned about the impact of waste on the environment and the sea, the importance of early waste sorting, and individual responsibility in maintaining environmental cleanliness. A total of 130 children enthusiastically took part in this session, highlighting the importance of fostering environmental awareness from an early age to support sustainable change.

Clean Up Action in Buleleng

In addition to education, we conducted clean-up activities at Kerobokan Beach on December 13 and the Ex Buleleng Port area on December 14. A total of 112 volunteers, mostly students and residents, participated in the action, successfully collecting 419 kg of waste, dominated by plastic and other residual waste that pose a threat to coastal and marine ecosystems.

Commitment to Reaching All of Bali

Program Director of Bali Lebih Bersih, Yudi Suarbawa, said that the activities in Buleleng are part of the organization’s long-term commitment.

Our goal is to continue striving to reach all districts in Bali

Through ongoing educational activities and field actions, Bali Lebih Bersih hopes to continue encouraging the community to actively participate in maintaining environmental cleanliness, particularly in Bali’s coastal and marine ecosystems.
