Karangasem, February 8, 2026 – Bali Lebih Bersih team collaborated with the Titik Awal Voluntrip to carry out educational activities at the Rumah Belajar Merah Putih located in Pemuteran, Karangasem. In total, 47 students participated and were mentored by 23 volunteers.

Furthermore, Karangasem is the 8th regency in Bali out of the total 9 regencies and cities that we have successfully opened through this program. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to reach more communities across this island.

A Meaningful Session at Rumah Belajar Merah Putih

As information, Rumah Belajar Merah Putih was established to support children from underprivileged families. Specifically, it provides additional educational assistance outside of formal education, giving them broader opportunities to learn, develop skills, and grow.

During the event, volunteers and participants shared simple but meaningful discussions about the environment. This included making crafts using plastic waste.

“We would like to thank Ocean Hero through Bali Lebih Bersih for the environmental education provided, and we hope that in the future more communities will become aware of environmental issues,” said Bapak Sengker, founder of Rumah Belajar Merah Putih.
