Yet, behind this beauty lies an urgent challenge: the growing issue of waste, particularly single-use plastics, that endangers the island’s environment, ocean ecosystems, and the health of its people. This problem not only threatens Bali’s natural charm but also its reputation as a global tourism destination.
Recognizing the importance of immediate action, OceanHero launched the Bali Lebih Bersih campaign as a movement to inspire and involve everyone—from local communities and volunteers to organizations and visitors—in protecting Bali. Through three core programs—Clean-up, Education, and Ocean Revival Festival—the campaign provides a platform for collaboration, learning, and celebration of positive change.
Bali Lebih Bersih is more than just a campaign; it is a collective call to action. By combining hands-on environmental efforts with awareness-building and creative engagement, the movement aims to ensure that Bali remains clean, healthy, and sustainable for generations to come.
