Where It All Began

The OceanHero journey in Bali didn’t start with something grand, but with a simple intention. On March 10, 2024, this journey officially began, carrying a vision for a cleaner environment. At the time, no one could have imagined just how far this small step would lead to change.

The OceanHero journey takes us from one beach to another to conduct clean-ups. Through these activities, we bring together people who share a sense of responsibility. After all, trash is something that is often overlooked by many.

Growing into a Movement

As this movement grew, something bigger began to take shape. People weren’t just participating; they were also becoming more aware of environmental issues. That’s how we eventually began focusing on education, particularly for the younger generation. We want to ensure that future generations are equipped with environmental education, particularly regarding waste.

Later, #BaliLebihBersih was launched in September 2025 as a movement with a stronger voice. It’s not just a campaign, but a shared message connecting many individuals. Through collaboration and events, we regularly hold clean-ups and educational sessions as our core programs.

Two Years and Beyond

Now, two years later, this journey feels more meaningful than ever. It’s not just about how it all began, but about how this journey continues to grow. The OceanHero journey reflects consistency, purpose, and collective effort.
