Badung, April 19, 2026 – Bali Lebih Bersih by OceanHero officially opened the Ecomora program at Wana Segara Kertih through a collaborative environmental action involving local communities and volunteers. This program marks the second year of activities carried out together at Wana Segara Kertih.

Welcoming of the Ecomora Program

The opening session began with a welcoming speech from Bapak Nyoman as the Head of Kelompok Nelayan Wana Segara Kertih. In his speech, he expressed appreciation for the program and hoped the activities would continue to bring a positive impact to the surrounding environment.

“This is already the second year of activities at Wana Segara Kertih. Hopefully the program will run smoothly until the end and continue to provide benefits for the community and environment,” said Bapak Nyoman.

Symbolic Waste Bin Handover

The event continued with a speech from Teddy Wijaya as Project Manager of Bali Lebih Bersih. During the session, a symbolic waste bin handover was also conducted as part of the Ecomora program support for better waste management in the area.

Through this initiative, we hope to encourage stronger environmental awareness among local communities and visitors.

Clean-up Action

As the main agenda, we carried out a clean-up action around the area with 22 volunteers. The activity successfully collected a total of 149 kilograms of waste from the surrounding environment.

This collaborative effort shows the shared commitment of communities, volunteers, and Bali Lebih Bersih to keep Bali’s coastal areas cleaner through consistent environmental action.
